Butchering Fashion?

28 September 2010

Lady Gaga’s meaty outfit has nothing on our local fashionista, sporting a boerewors bikini and sausage skirt.

There’s nothing like a day around the braai to bring out a little creativity among South African men. We're loving SA comedian Paul Snodgrass' take on Lady Gaga's meat dress - just in time for Braai Day.

Apparently Lady Gaga's dress is being dried into biltong, we have no what no idea what happend to Paul's.

Update

Thanks to Paul, we now know that his boerewors bikini was created for Braai Day for a Heart FM photoshoot in Cape Town. His meaty outfit was created by Tarryn Page, who also directed the shoot, and photographed by Rob Beugelink. All the meat went to a good cause - the SPCA. (That's a relief.) Thanks for the laugh, guys!

What do you think of the meaty creations? Tell us in the comments box below.

This is what I like to call "Fresh" fashion. Here today and well... eaten tomorrow. I have to laugh at the fact that everyone was up in arms about this creation when in fact we all... wear LEATHER, this was just a "fresher" version of "Lady Gaga's meaty model"... Paul was a great sport to allow me to decorate his body with the 'straight out the fridge' outfit I made and Thanks to Rob as well for putting up with yet another crazy photo shoot for me!

Da butcher

I think the SA version was far more classy, fashionable and wearable. All pointing to a leading ladies outfit. Well done tarryn for the designs and thanks to Paul for his hairy stomach.
