Snap happy!

www.75.co.za is a collaborative photographic project which allows budding photographers to share their pics online. ‘The idea of 75 is borrowed from www.sinah.org, my own photo-journal,’ says Lebogang Nkoane, who was inspired by her grandmother, Sinah Nkoli Nkoane.

75 features some of the most original urban photography around: ‘I think 75 provides an alternative perspective of what South Africa is.’ And what started as a way for Nkoane to see exciting photography has grown into a community of over 120 photographers, sharing and discussing (there are over 45000 comments on the site) their work. ‘We average more than two million hits a month, with 50000–100000 page views.’
