Tucked away in leafy Winston Park, Moi Day Spa is a beautiful oasis of calm. Boasting three large treatment rooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom, quality products, and an attentive professional staff, this spa offers a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Greeted with big smiles and fresh orange juice by owner Hayley and her therapists Lauren and Zama, I whisked away to a warm treatment room, complete with fluffy robe, chocolate on my pillow, and blazing candles. Once I was all toasty under blankets, with Aromasoothz beanbags on my neck and hands to keep the cold at bay, I was treated to a Therapeutic Reflexology session. Using warmed oil and carefully massaging each part of the foot with firm yet soothing strokes, Lauren explained that Therapeutic Reflexology is a gentle form of Reflexology, designed to alleviate pain and encourage relaxation. No jabbing here! |
Discovering that my wrists and eyes needed attention did not stop me from drifting off into a relaxing Alpha state at one point during the one hour long treatment. While my feet were the focus, overall calm was encouraged by constant warmth and an unexpected mini eye-massage.
I left feeling pampered and with a new appreciation of my feet. For those wanting a break away from it all, Moi Day Spa is the perfect indulgent treat!
