Clarins Eau Des Jardins Smoothing Body Cream

We all have our own personal beauty product splurges. Some adore premium face creams. Others go weak at the knees for gorgeous fragrances. I on the other hand, along with our digital editor Jen Searle, love pampering body products that make you feel uplifted; no matter how terrible your day has been.

This rich moisturiser is easily absorbed and has a non-overpowering, citrusy, floral scent. It releases an abundance of moisture into the driest of skins, which lasts the entire day, but it does not leave a greasy residue behind. A host of plant-derived active ingredients are found in the cream, including beech bud extract (for hydration), sorbier bud extract (for radiance boosting) and nourishing Vitamin E. In my opinion, this product epitomises spring and each application reminds me of a fresh, flower-filled garden. In a word, it is exquisite.
