Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter

I love bright bold lips and struggle to stray from my much-loved red lipstick. However, I tend to save bright lips for an occasion and generally default to lip balm during the week particularly while at work. I was thrilled when I saw Revlon’s ColourBurst Lip Butter. The rich, creamy texture in the slanted packaging was very alluring, which is understandable since each shade is named after a delectable dessert.

The lip butter contains a mango, shea and coconut butter formula and is said to boost lip moisture by 156%. It glides onto your lips easily, is very nourishing and offers a medium colour with a slight shine. It feels more lip balm than lipstick and does not dry out your lips at all. I tested out the neutral Crème Brulee, a great neutral tone which is a perfect every day staple and Red Velvet, a rich berry red which is great for a bolder statement. You could just pop both these lip butters in your bag and you’d be ready for any occasion.
