The Perfect Cleanser

I must admit that I was a tad sceptical at first to try the Ren No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm. It's a solid balm that you have to smear over your face and then rinse off. Personally I like something quick and easy, so you can imagine my reluctance.

But always one to try new things, I gave it a bash. And wow, was I impressed. A small amount of this silky balm goes a long way. I warmed the balm in the palm of my hands and gently massaged it all over my face for a couple of minutes. I then added a little water to emulsify it into a rich milk and rinsed off with warm water. You can also use a muslin or soft cloth to remove the balm. I couldn't get over the results, my skin was left hydrated, soft and without any redness.  The formula is gentle enough to be used as an eye make-up remover and really does remove all traces of make-up. Infused with a gentle rose scent, the balm also smells divine and isn't too overpowering.

It also helps that Ren products are completely natural and cruelty-free, which for me is always a huge bonus.
