Eish! My head is spinning...

Am I glad I took a little time out at the end of last year! 2010 started with a running leap and it looks like there’s no drop in pace on the horizon. It began with the Bay to Bay race which was awesome but I headed off overseas on business the next day and walking up the ramp on to the plane was a challenge! Those uphills! (note to self – hills are friends not foe!)

When I returned we went straight into the fabulous Style Apprentice project which we’re still busy with. The department has now begun to work earnestly on the new Fashion & Beauty supplement for Winter which is due out with the May issue. You can't afford to miss it, it’s hot hot hot!

Tomorrow I run ‘the Peninsula’ and the words on everyone’s lips are, ‘I hope it’s going to cool down!’ Otherwise we are in for a race through hell! Next week it’s the Design Indaba which I wouldn’t miss for anything in the world and then I am abroad again.

The crazy thing is that I just can’t sit still, so this works for me. That and being passionate about what I do. Stay with the Fairlady beauty team through 2010, we have some very exciting projects and stories coming up. The world of beauty never disappoints!
