I met Etienne at a friend's dinner party, not knowing that he would be my Prince Charming.... a year later we got engaged. My proposal was nothing short of amazing. My hubby to be had secretly planned a romantic candlelight dinner, movie and then set the scene for a romantic and sensual massage using oils, soft pillows- strawberries dipped in chocolate. Once he got me relaxed and happy, he got down on his knees, slipped the engagement ring on my finger and asked me to marry him! Our beautiful wedding took place on the 4th March 2011 at Galagos Country Estate, in Pretoria. It was such an incredibly hot day, but absolutely beautiful with the back drop of a forest area. . It was such a magical day, one I will never forget. We were blessed to have had 84 of our closest friends and family witness our marriage. I loved my dress imported by Bride and Co. It was so elegant and feminine, a real Princess dress made up of a satin cuffed bodice full tulle skirt embellishment. My husband looked absolutely handsome in his suite. Everything was perfect from the wedding venue, to the ceremony in a forest, to our colour scheme that was Dirty Pink and Silver, to the beautiful crystal chandeliers as centre pieces, the food and dessert was delicious. We combined elegant and classical elements to make our dream wedding come true. We danced the night away and finally left our loved ones to our honeymoon suite. Not only have I married my Best Friend, I have married a man that loves the Lord.
