Marc and I had the same friends growing up, lived a stones throw from each other and share the same stories about growing up in and around Kloof. But we'd never once crossed paths - until one cold and miserable night at the July. Marc instantly gave me the nickname Freezer because I apparently looked really cold. Two nights later we were invited to a mutual friend's dinner and he greeted me by my new nickname: Freezer. I was totally smitten. 5 years later and Marc went down on one very wobbly knee in front of our closest family and friends at his birthday Potjie Party! And so began the preparations for the marriage of two really big, really crazy families - what we fondly refer to as "the wedding of awesomeness".

how fortunate koos and I are to have a daughter who unconditionally loves Marc and his family. In addition we have gained a wonderful daughter which I never had. Most of all we have a new fantastic additional family, and what an absolute BLAST it was when Marc and Kendall told us that it was time to "MEET THE FOKKERS" we love them lots and lots. Kendall and Marc you created the most beautiful wedding that I have ever been to....it was absolutely 'AWESOME" it blew our socks off!!!!!! JUST WANT TO HAVE THE WHOLE DAY OVER AGAIN AND AGAIN. We are so proud of MR and Mrs "Awesomeness" THE BEST WEDDING IN THE W H O L E W O R L D!!!! and the most beautiful Bride you could ever imagine....from her beautiful face, kind and loving heart, and her PINK WEDDING SHOES.
