Shawn and I first meet at the age of 16. I was close friends with his friend "Sean" and I confided in Sean that I liked Shawn, and Shawn had also confided in Sean that he like me. One evening we all went to a party and Sean decided to set Shawn and I up. He had told Shawn that I wanted to kiss him and to meet me by the swings at 10pm. Sean then told me that Shawn wanted to kiss me and to meet him by the swings. So we met, kissed, and had already fallen in-love. We dated for Several months and then slowly went our own ways, which then fate intervened and brought us back together 6 years later. Here it gets a bit soap like, I was dating Shawn's House Mate "Cy" at the time, which we then brokeup. Shawn came to my rescue. He took me out, made me laugh and forget about the breakup. We then went out one night, started kissing and we knew that we were meant to be together. We have since been together for almost 8 years. On our 6th year anniversary, Shawn took me off to Mozambique to celebrate and after 6 years of being together I had given up on expecting a marriage proposal. But it happened, we went for a long beach walk and I thought he was acting a bit strange. We then stopped for some shade and he disappeared for a while and when he returned he was sitting on the edge of his seat and shaking a bit - and then he did it, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I first said "Are you Serious" several times and eventually said "Yes, Of Course YES". 1 Year later we got married. It was one of the most beautiful times in our lives. Our friends who had a big part in bringing us together "Sean & Cy" were part of the grooms-men. The day was sunny and warm, then venue was well prepared, all 55 guests had arrived on time and like any true bride - I was a little late. Our wedding was themed around LOVE. Shawn & I being the perfect recipe for Love. Any of our Friends and Family will tell you we are the perfect fit in every way.
