Online fashion retailer, 36Boutiques and Foschini have partnered to showcase three limited edition designer T-shirts. The partnership aims to give the top three participants in the AFI Foschini Fastrack competition a platform to showcase their garments to a national audience and a chance to kick-start their careers in the fashion industry.

The AFI Foschini Fastrack competition is an initiative to give young student designers a prominent platform within the South African fashion industry. The panel of expert judges not only select the top students, but also provide invaluable advice and a constructive advice for all the young designers involved. The three top designers who designed the T-shirts for 36 Boutiques are:

Mia Kriek, a graduate from Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design who produced a collection inspired by the apocalypse style of the modern urban warrior woman that empowers women and portrays them as strong leaders and icons in society;

Chelsey Wilson, another graduate from Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design, produced a collection entitled "The Story of a Girl" showing pretty pastels in modern shapes, with a feminine and vintage feel to it; and

Thoki Tafeni, a graduate from Cape Town College of Fashion Design, who produced a collection inspired by the Frieda Kahlo painting, The Broken Column.

The limited edition designer T-shirts will be available exclusively on 36Boutiques.com while stock lasts.
