Swimwear boutique Periquita opens its doors

Sushi from Sevruga and sparkling wine from Lourensford flowed on Thursday night, as Periquita opened its doors in Seapoint, Cape Town.  

The boutique is owned by Jackie Wiese and beautiful Brazilian model Juliana Vasconcelos who is engaged to Top Billing’s Janez Vermeiren.

The proud shop owners looked ever so glam as they showcased some of the best swimwear to come out of Brazil. Imported on a regular basis, the swimwear is bold and sexy and is made for women who are not afraid to show off their bodies.

After browsing the boutique, we headed upstairs for the fashion show, where Janez introduced the swimwear and the girls with his usual charm. Gorgeous bronzed models modelled the sexy swimwear in mixed and matched  bottoms and tops. I loved the animal-print bikini’s and found that the skimpy bottoms looked surprisingly flattering.

Periquita also has a line of gymwear that is practical, comfortable and stylish.
