Dinner and movie with a difference

Who can turn down a good ol' dinner-and-a-movie date? We sure can't. So, we're thrilled at The Freeworld Design Centre's 'Food, Foodie and Food Movie' evenings.

Basically, renowned foodies will introduce their all-time favourite food movies and food artist, Jacques Erasmus, will serve a meal designed to fit the movie. We think it's a super and novel idea.

It's all in association with Hemelhuijs, local food celebrities and Design Indaba.

If you're in Cape Town, you don't want to miss this amazing event. The evenings will kick off with rooftop sundowners at the Freeworld Roofbar.

• Wednesday 16 November 2011 – The Freshman with David Cope of FoodieZA.
• Wednesday 23 November 2011 – The Big Night with Justine Drake, TV food personality, editor of Fresh Living and food festival director.
• Thursday 24 November 2011 – I am Love with Nikki Werner.
• Wednesday 30 November 2011 –  Tampopo with Abigail Donnelly of Taste and Eat Out.
