Lindt's new chocolate studio
The Lindt Chocolate Studio & Boutique in Cape Town has expanded to offer a variety of delicious (and indulgent) treats.
The Lindt Chocolate Studio & Boutique (which first opened in November2009) has now expanded to more than twice its original size with a fresh new look. 'The expansion of the Lindt Chocolate Studio & Boutique in Cape Town is an important milestone for Lindt and reflects the growing interest in premium chocolate worldwide,' said Nicolas Thoenen, CEO of the Lindt & Sprüngli subsidiary in South Africa.
The new space includes a ‘Pick & Mix’ section where you can select an assortment of your favourite Lindt Lindor truffles; a wide variety of the Master Chocolatier’s freshly-made chocolate creations and a selection of indulgent Lindt Hot Chocolate. Added to this, Lindt has also introduced Lindt ice cream, sold exclusively at the Lindt Chocolate Studio & Boutique.
Situated in the Cape Quarter, it's the perfect spot to stop at after dinner for an indulgent dessert. You'll even be tempted by the other chocolate-related merchandise from Lindt recipe books to fondue sets and an assortment of chocolate-specific equipment.
Chocolate-lovers can also learn more about chocolate and chocolate making, withi one of the studio's workshops. These include: Cakes & Gateaux, High Tea Treats, Confectionary, Décor Showpieces and Lindt Desserts. We think one of these courses would make a fantastic gift for any chocoholic.

WOW, a whole shop full of LINDT chocolates??!!! Capetonians APPRECIATE this as we in Gauteng can only dream. Sad that there is not a shop like this in Gauteng, Pretoria prefably, as everything else is in Cake Town or Sandton and Rosebank. What about the people that can not travel,do not have the means to get to these places. Anyway, I'll make due with my once a month boxie of Lindt 's from Clicks and my once a year Gold Bunny at Easter.
