Amaretto Eggnog

Garnish with cranberries and enjoy this alcoholic take on a Christmas classic.

[Serves 6]
5 egg yolks
150g sugar
2 cups milk
1 cup cream
1 stick cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
¼ cup Amaretto liqueur, warmed Cranberries to garnish
1. Place the egg yolks in a bowl, add the sugar and whisk with an electric beater until thick and foamy. Pour into a pot, add the milk, cream, cinnamon and nutmeg, and stir to combine. Heat over a low heat until slightly thickened.
2. Remove from heat, pour mixture through a sieve and stir through the Amaretto.
3. To serve: Pour the warmed liquid into serving glasses and serve immediately, garnished with cranberries.
