Cape To Cairo Syrah 2006

This is a wine with bold tannins and a peppery finish. It’s dark and fruity and can be drunk now or in a few years. The back of the bottle reads ‘reminiscent of a trip on the African spice route.’ I’m not sure if I’d go that far, but it’s a delicious, rich Shiraz which can stand up to spicy food and the packaging is beautiful which makes for great gifting.
