Terry Pheto in The Bold and the Beautiful
Local star, Terry Pheto, is set to star in The Bold and The Beautiful.
From June 13 this year, Terry Pheto will star in The Bold and the Beautiful as a heart surgeon.
While the writers of the popular show aren't revealing too much at this stage, it's been confirmed our very own star will play the role of a world renowned South African heart surgeon.
“This is the opportunity of a lifetime and I look forward to sharing the screen with my soapie heroes Katherine Kelly Lang and Susan Flannery, while sinking my thespian teeth into a challenging role,” Pheto said.
Having starred in the Oscar winning Tsotsie, Pheto (30) is the face of L'Oreal South Africa.
She's currently in Los Angeles preparing for the role.
Pheto tweeted her excitement: "Thanks for the love and support. Much appreciated. These are exciting times:) ♥" she said.
South African audiences will have to wait until next year for Pheto's scenes to air.
