Dee's breast cancer journey
2 October 2012
A video that chronicles the journey of cancer conquerer, Dee Miros.
In the October issue of FAIRLADY, Leigh Page describes her dear friend Dee's battle through a bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery (Breast friends, page 34). Leigh documented her friend on camera through all the sadness and strength of her journey. Dee's reasoning for documenting it: ‘If sharing my experience can change even one other person’s encounter with cancer, then it’s worth flashing my boobs.’
The clip below entitled Interviews with a cancer conquerer is an overview of Dee's journey:

What a remarkable women my mom lost her left breast a few years ago, it's a terrible experience for any woman to find out that she's got breast cancer but the worst part is the mastectomy, my heart goes out to every woman who has to walk this road to recovery, not to mention the depression and anxiety but God is always there to take your hand and make it better for you to except it my best wishes to all the women out there with breast cancer.Chrisma Bruwer
Hierdie was so 'n wonderlike video.
